Research

I have conducted research on audience profiling. I feel as though this is important as i need to know who is my audience is going to be and what their attitude is like towards the music that i’ll be releasing. I also needed to know how people listen to music.

I have carried out research on composition and sonic elements towards the genre i chose to do, in hopes of deciding on my songs that i’ll be recording. There i have done 2 songs on Compositions and Sonic elements. The reason that i have done this was so i can find more about each song in depth such as Key, Duration, Structure, etc.

Here i have researched about the artist’s within the genre’s i chose to do. I have done this because as i needed to know the background’s and life about these artist’s, what they are and what they do within the music industry. I have also chose to practice and record covers on song’s by some of these artists.

Here i have analysed 2 art covers on a Artist’s album’single. I have done this because i needed inspiration to create very my own art cover. There i have described what is on the art covers and what i need to do next when i create my art cover.

Within this area i have researched and typed up about what skills and techniques i need to require before recording. This is important as i may need to know how to set up equipment and what to do when recording.

Another area that i have explored is roles within performing and production. i have carried out this research as i know the information would be useful when i record my songs. This is because i need to know the roles and know who i need to help me when i record my songs.

Within this area i have researched about what is a ‘Listening Party’ and what it does. I have done this as i thought it would benefit and help my project.
